Course Descriptions :
본 강좌는 dating relationships, marital relationships, 그리고 other committed relationships에서의 sexual phenomena를 다루면서, 친밀한 관계에서의 sexuality의 의미와 기능에 대한 지식을 탐구한다. 또한 개인, 커플, 그리고 가족이 직면한 sexual issues에 대해 고찰하고 human services 관련 직종에 종사하며 부딪힐 수 있는 sex-related issues 및 problems를 파악한다.
Course Objectives/Goals :
본 강좌를 이수한 후, 학생들은
(1) 성과 관련된 자신의 가치관을 분명히 하고, 이러한 가치관이 자신의 개인적 그리고 전문적 관계에 미치는 영향을 이해할 수 있다.
(2) 자신과 다른 성행동과 성가치관에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓힐 수 있다.
(3) 생애주기를 통한 성적 발달과 기능, 그리고 젠더와 관련된 이슈를 이해할 수 있다.
(4) 인간의 성을 연구하는데 적용되는 이론적 틀, 방법론적 접근 및 주요 이슈들에 대해 이해할 수 있다.
(5) 성과 관련된 사회적 이슈나 논쟁을 비판적으로 분석할 수 있다.

출석(10%); 수업참여도(발제 및 토론, 30%); 중간고사(20%); 기말고사(20%); 연구보고서(20%)
1. 수업참여도
‣각 주의 발제자는 해당 수업 3일전에 강의 카페(http://cafe.daum.net/familyeducation)에 발제자료를 올리고, 나머지 토론자는 발제자가 제안한 주제에 대한 자신의 의견을 정리하여 수업시간에 발표 및 토론한 후 토론 자료를 올린다.
‣발제자는 해당 주제에 대한 reading 자료를 요약하고, 주요 토론 주제를 5가지 이상 제안한다.
‣발제자의 수는 수강인원에 따라 조정할 것임
2. 중간고사 및 기말고사
‣중간고사 및 기말고사는 reading에 대한 이해도를 평가하기 위하여 실시함
3. 연구보고서(팀프로젝트)
‣성인남녀를 대상으로 sexuality-related measures를 활용하여 자료 수집 후 연구 결과를 분석한 보고서 발표 및 제출 (sex-related measures는 수업시간에 다시 논의할 것임)
