Workshop on Reinforcing Next Generation's Asian Feminist Networking
The Gaze of Global Travelers and Asian Communities in the Globalization Era
The Asian Center for Women's Studies will be hosting a workshop to share the experiences of international cultural exchange of next generation's Asian feminists through a Korean modern history tour and to seek a reinforcement of networking based on those experiences.
In this workshop, we will share experiences of the Korean - Japanese Women's Exchange Program held in July, in which we attempted a new kind of exchange by traveling to places related to women who have been buried or distortedly represented in history, and we will report on our participation in the Chinese Women Researchers' Network Founding Meeting held in August. Afterwards, we will have a speaker who is involved in Asian exchange activities talk about what it means to do Asian networking in a global era.
